The Challenge

When new owners Kasey and Kristina were in the process of purchasing the salon from longtime owner Elyse, they knew that they needed a more efficient appointment management system. During the discovery phase, it was also noted that their online presence needed improvement as their website was not responsive and had a dated appearance. Operating a salon has a multitude of challenges and having the right tools in place is critical.

Beautifully Showcasing Services

A bespoke Squarespace website was created for the salon, that led to significantly increased traffic. The website was designed to showcase the salon’s services, provide a gallery of their work, and allow customers to easily contact the salon to make an appointment. The design is modern and sleek, responsive on all devices. The website was optimized for search engines, making it easy for potential customers to find the salon online.

 

Client Management

Efficient Operations & Cost Savings

The salon was migrated from Mindbody Booker to Square Appointments, which resulted in an easier-to-use appointment and client management system. During the process, over 15,000 customers were migrated into the new platform, along with over 40,000 appointments and roughly 1,000 retail products. Integrated with employee scheduling and employee payroll; the new solution was powerful while remaining easy to operate. On top of the added features, the platform saved the salon thousands per year compared to previous platform costs.
